  the april 2012 wt study article has some of the most strongly worded statements about contact with disfellowshipped family members.. page 12, paragraph 17: -.

  Another Point Against Disfellowshipping (Even the WT can't deny)

  i have been shifting some ideas around and the threat of disfellowshipping may actually help me in this instance.

  if you've read my other posts, you know why it is i'm on here.

  and you know that i am adamant.. but in the research of disfellowship, i've tried thinking of good, alternate arguments or points of reasoning before pressing the red button.

  2/15 WT " Preserve the Positive Spirit of Congregations" - Translation :Submit

  once again, this was a real " jewel " of a study article by the wt society full of contradictions , controlling expressions , and manipulative wording in order to take away jehovah's witnesses free will and freedom of mind .. initially the wt society makes it appear that they are " concerned " about witnesses actually keeping the " peace " between themselves.

  notice this quote from pg.

  20, paragraph 7, " true friends keep personal matters confidential.

  @00DAD Silly Dad! I said recent "conversation" ...not conventiion...

  However, the conversation I had was...once you take the plung and you later come to disagree on something, you will be DF'd for Apostasy unless you keep it to yourself and they own you.

  For instance. When they have a change on a view point or doctrine, even if you know there's something fishy about it, you MUST keep you mouth shut. The irony of this? Later when they realize they made an "opps we made a mistake", they change it "in print" for the "whole world to see".....and not get DF'd for it after they have DF'd thousand for questioing and maybe even not agreeing with them.

  Thank you for posting this... much excellent info!

  I'm so very sad however....

  I feel sad for myself and for my child, which has already expressed being stressed because of the last article that came out. My child is new to the WTS/a student, but at the same time is very insightful. I'm in dire hopes a huge "warning" light goes off when this new article comes out. Especially the part which reads, "Jehovah is watching" and "Came back because of family" (mind you not Jah)?

  I can't help it. The more time goes by and I find out their true core soul. The more I've come to loath them.

  Blondie you're golden. Great point.

  Those crusty, old, "abusive" men with their backward ways DF tactics have only pushed me even further from believing it's the truth. I guess they forgot Jesus hung out with prostitutes.

  I just wondering....they must be aware there's tons of JW's who have two feet out the door and the only reason they don't completely leave is due to family still in. So to keep the fear alive, the GB tightens the noose as a threat not to leave because this too could happen to you.

  All I can say is. I along with many here can't wait for shit to hit the fan and they get fully exposed.

  So, do any of you think the GB reads our posts here?

  Today I was told I've been reported to authorities for elder abuse!

  this is a very long story-probably requires at least 2 threads, but i'll try:.

  my 93 yr. old widowed destitute mother has dementia.

  i am her only child.

  Many of these places are under handed.

  My mom was moved from a county hospital to a a private facility becaue the county hospital lacked beds and told me I could pick her up the next day. The private facility wouldn't release her when I went to pick her up and tried to take full custody of my mother through trying to pull an internal court hearing. They wanted to keep her because they knew they could charge medicare and keep my moms money. They lied and said I tried to embezzle money too!

  I had to get an attorney. Didn't cost a whole lot either. Anyway, I proved that they were incorrect in their accusations. The court released my mother to me, in turn found a new home( faciity) because she too has dementia. Those bastards still tried to charge me. I told them I didn't give them my permission for my mother to there and neither did my mother sign or give her permission to keep her there and if they were going to charge for the days she was there they're going to have to take it from her medicare.....etc....

  Yes, it sounds like they're trying to pull a fast one on you. ombudsman in your state as truthseeker states is a good way to go.

  These places count on your ignorance to pull fraud and steal money from the innocent......

  Lurkers beware! See what happens when you leave the WTS! As myself, you forget your grammer, spelling, etc.....it all goes to hell....

  Since the WTS is hell bent on stict rules and policy, before one gets baptized, they should print a docutment of ecclesiastical tribunal rules and give it to a publisher who's on the verge of baptisim. At least letting them know what their rights are or are not.

  1 If you later have an issue with a certain teaching or the GB "Keep your mouth shut or you'll be DF'd for Apostasy.

  2 GB is the only one who can change a teaching, even if they were wrong in the first place and even if you knew it was incorrect in the first place, you be DF'd for Apostasy.

  3 Even if one DA him or herself. Other members/family will still shun you because the GB encourages it.

  4 It's Ok for the GB to use dirty business tactics but you cannot.

  5 It's ok for the GB TO CONTINUE IN WRONG DOING for fear of being sued, exposed, or embarressement. But you cannot or you will face tribunal.

  6 It's ok for the GB not to be repentful in their wrong doing or mistakes.

  Thank You TD for posting this info. I reads exacty my point. They will not DF until they have the proof needed to do so. This is a very important document.

  Again, DON'T GO TO THIER SNEAKY JMEETING! You'll be foreced by your good nature, to admit things or admit by trying to defend yourself! Then they'll have all the proof they need....

  @ palmtree67 ...THAT'S HORRIBLE!! Bastard X's all the way around....

  But again they have to have proof.

  I know the WTS has been sued over and over again. However, have taken to because of being separated from family, blood, child molestation etc.....and I'm sure most of those people who have been DF'd, either addmitted it because of their underhanded way of initianting a Judicial Meeting or proof.......

  It doesn' make sense? They won't DF a child molester brother because they have to have a witness or three.....come on you guys?
